Training and Conferencing
Jim Hammett has developed a speciality in training camp and residential holiday teams of staff and volunteers throughout the world. His enthusiastic style and infectious sense of humour goes down well with groups of people preparing for the year ahead.
Topics covered are tailored specifically to your needs and often include issues from spiritual preparation and creative teaching to practical issues such as bringing the bible alive in small groups or health and safety matters.
Jim has been on an HSE government advisory group, trained at international level with many Christian leaders overseas, but loves working with small groups in an interactive, fun style.
Jim is also available as a conference speaker and facilitator.
Jim ran a range of seminars at the National Christian Slovakian children's workers conference. He was back training camp leaders in Slovakia in 2018 and returned again to run a national 'training the camp trainer' event later that year.
In 2021 Jim has been teaching a new course on Christian camping and outdoor leadership to university students in India. This is a new degree level course via the Martin Luther Christian University. He will be running the 'Campfire discussion' for CCI international on November 11th 2021. Contact Jim to join the seminar, delegates will be from over 20 countries around the world.
